Came on a Wednesday night and was instantly sat. Ambiance is a nice somewhat dim vibe. Lots of tables and space throughout the restaurant. We were greeted by our server and he explained what they had and answered all our questions happily. He was always checking on us to see if we were good and kept our waters full. We started off with the chirashi bowl which was $20 and ordered a few sides of seaweed to make our own handrolls. The fish was super fresh and buttery. Nice big pieces of fish as well. Next was the beef belly bowl which came with a decent portion of meat. Was similar to an elevated Yoshinoya bowl. The duck breast skewer was ok and a really small portion but tasted decent. The star of the night was the pork belly yakitori. Nice chunky pieces of pork with a beautiful smoky/sweet glaze. Rich and fatty that paired perfectly with a bowl of rice. Overall, a great experience. Not overpriced and a good atmosphere.

Food 100/100. Service 100/100. Ambiance 100/100. I have been on a ramen binge for a while and I loved everything about Kin Craft Ramen and Izakaya. Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated straight away. The food came out fast and piping hot. Loved seeing so much diversity amongst both staff and customer base. It actually made me feel slightly homesick for DC because of it. Many of the Costa Mesa area shops have very skewed socioeconomic groups that become more salient the longer I have been in the area. Anyway I digress. The Tom Kha ramen was one of the best I have had before. Same with the spicy miso ramen with chashu. The broth temperature was just right. The noodles nice and springy. Loved every bite and sip of it!! The furikake fries and takoyaki were both savory and delicious. I wish it had arrived to the table before the ramen was delivered but still!! I was floored by how quickly the food arrived in general. The staff pays attention to guests without being pestering. They are observant and very efficient. Jamie offered us noodle refills exactly 2-3 bites before we were done eating. Great timing!! I also got to watch Phil, the manager constantly walking around, checking and making sure everything was just right. He is quick to give feedback in and outside the kitchen. And it shows through the great taste of quality ramen and guest experience I had. I look forward to frequenting this establishment often.

I've tried Kin only once before for the Tonkotsu ramen but was not a fan. However I did come back with a group of friends to try a couple of the other dishes and had a great experience. Service was great and servers were attentive and checked up on us frequently. I have to say I'm definitely a bigger fan now and will be coming back again. I didn't get to try everything the group had ordered but from what I did try I'll give my rating. Uni Udon: 3/5 the texture of the noodles were great but the sauce wasn't quite hitting for me. Hamburg Curry: 5/5 I loved everything about this dish from the savory/flavorful sauce to the tender hamburg steak. My favorite thing I had! Hokkaido Scallop Crudo: 4/5 The scallop's quality was great and it almost tasted sweet since it was fresh. However, the sauce was okay. Salmon Crudo: 5/5 Loved it salmon was great! Chicken Thigh Skewer: 4/5 The chicken thigh was tender and had a great char flavor to it. Wasn't a big fan of the chunk of green onion though.

This is my favorite spot for ramen! I'm a huge fan of Kei Concepts and this one does not disappoint. My go-to is the Original Gyu-Tonkotsu. The broth is so flavorful and not super salty like other places. I could drink that broth all day! Extra bonus of eating in is getting extra noodles, which I always do! Pretty spacious inside and a nice modern vibe. Service is always great and fast! Large parking lot that gets busy but we always manage to find a spot within 5 minutes. Can't wait to visit again!

Decided to be bold this visit at Kin and to decided to get the seafood Tom kha ramen. I've always been familiar with Kei concepts adventurous fusion and did they deliver! The Tom kha went really well with the ramen toppings and noodles, and the protein was very generous. Would recommend for anyone reluctant to try new items from KIN :).

Incredible. Decadent. God's gift from above. All of these describe what KIN Craft Ramen & Izakaya is to the world. Though our party of 6 struggled in the beginning to choose only one bowl, we made our final selections in the hopes of having a group tasting around the table. We were also kindly reminded that we have unlimited refills of noodles whenever we needed too! Upon getting the piping hot ramen bowls, I never realized how hungry I was until I took my first bite. That first serving of noodles into my mouth gave me a smile I never knew I had and looking at my table, I can tell I wasn't alone in this feeling. Silence flooded our dining area besides the occasional sound of slurping from the delicious broth. Without even realizing it, my entire party had ordered 3 round of noodles refills and I was stuffed beyond comprehension. The noodles themselves had been soaked in the broth and absorbed so much flavor that each bite tasted just as good as the last. The soup was a delicacy on its own, words fail to describe the amount of care that was put into each and every broth we ordered. This establishment is the very definition of great food and service that all restaurants should strive for. KIN Craft Ramen changed the whole concept of what good ramen is to me and I can undoubtedly say that this is a place you need to try at least once in your life. My next paycheck is definitely going towards my next visit here!

STERLING SERVICE. Staff are incredibly patient, enthusiastic with beaming smiles, and attentive with frequent check-ins.  TASTY & SHAREABLE BITES. My favorite dishes so far: * Aguachile Hamachi: cool, tangy, and refreshing  * Duck Chawanmushi: silky and umami * Chashu Tom Kha: comforting, rich broth & you can get a free refill on noodles! REFINED, INTIMATE & RELAXED VIBES. This is a great spot for dates and catching up with friends! I've come here twice for light celebrations, and will def come back soon :)

We came in without a reservation on a Saturday just before noon, and we were immediately seated. Scan the QR code on the table for your menu. After scanning through the Yelp pics, I noticed that the menu didn't include any fish or yakitori options. I asked the server, who informed me that those options are on the dinner menu. We started with the Takoyaki, fried octopus balls, with eel sauce, mayo, and bonito flakes. They were delicious and tasted a bit like a croquette. The combination of the bonito flakes and cabbage with the fried octopus ball was so yummy. We also tried the Seafood Tom Kha Soup. The broth was spicy and filled with so much flavor. The soup contained scallops, shrimp, and calamari. The shrimp was a bit overcooked and took away from the deliciousness of the dish. I especially loved the ramen noodles. Finally, a pleasantly surprising dish was the Karaage Oyakodon. Chicken, sweet soy, egg scramble and yuzu mayo, tops rice. We will definitely be back for the dinner menu. Overall, delicious food filled with so much flavor. I took one star off for the service. Once the food was dropped off, we had to flag down the server for everything.

The uni udon was so so good. I did my research on Yelp before going and none of them looked that creamy but the chef who must've made it this day must have heard my request from the table because it was extra creamy. The uni flavor doesn't stand out as much as the mentaiko (spicy cod roe) which I didn't mind because I love mentaiko a lot. I also added some chili peppers to spice it up a bit.  I did not expect myself to like the tom kha ramen but the broth was so addictingly good. It wasn't so rich that it made you feel bloated and it had a nice coconut-y aftertaste. I would definitely get it with seafood next time though instead of chashu because it didn't really compliment the flavor profile.  The duck chawanmushi is pretty good but I also ate this growing up so it wasn't anything too special aside from the fact that duck is included. It only came with two small slivers on top so I wish there was a bit more protein. We came to celebrate a birthday so they gave us a black sesame coconut sago on the house and I loved it when I tried some. I wish it didn't have the mochi pieces but the sago with the black sesame ice cream was my type of dessert. They also gave him a birthday note which was so sweet. The service was great and friendly.
